Sri Lord Dattatreyar Jayanthi is celebrated here in Dattakudeeram every Year on the day of Full noon falls on the month of "Karthigai" (mostly December).

On the day of Sri Lord Dattatreyar Jayanthi various Holy rituals will be performed here in Dattakudeeram, Sengalipurm, dedicated to Sri Lord Dattatreyar.


Sri Ganapathi Homam and Laksharchana, Sri Rudra Ekadasi, Vasordara Homams will be performed and concluded. Music Concerts, Discourses, Harikathas and Bajans will be conducted on that day. Dattakudeeram will be filled with holy divine Blessings of Sri Lord Dattatreyar on that day. (for Laksharchana & each Sahasranama Archana including Neivedyam Rs.300/-. For Abisekam Rs.500/-)

The famous "Thottle Utshavam" and "Paloottum Vaibhavam" will be performed during the celebration. Many Childless devotees throng this day and feed Sri Lord Dattatreyar to obtain "Santhana Bhagyam".
